A Wild Retreat: Shinewing’s Inaugural All Team Offsite
Project Specs
Client: ShineWing
Industry: Financial Services
Format: 2 Day Offsite
Audience: 120 staff from the Australian Audit Division
Project Summary
In an industry being reshaped by technological disruption, ShineWing saw an opportunity to reposition itself not just as a high-performing accounting business, but a hub of creative, culturally intelligent leadership.
They recognised the need for a revitalised purpose. And the importance of getting alignment and excitement around it from the team.
That’s where Myke came in.
Shinewing engaged Myke to design and facilitate their first-ever full-team conference in Australia. His role was to turn an inaugural professional services offsite into a transformative encounter with identity, innovation, and possibility.
More than just another offsite, this event needed to galvanise the team, equip them to solve increasingly complex challenges, and ignite the human capabilities required to lead through uncertainty.

The
Shift
Myke curated an immersive, two-day experience that blended intellect with emotion, strategy with story, and performance with play. Every element was designed to hit ShineWing’s strategic objectives while cracking open new pathways for connection and creativity.
He presented the conference as a living lab for next-gen leadership, weaving in critical themes like; embracing technology, cultural diversity, creative problem solving, resilience, risk taking, and relationship capital.
The Results:
Transformation was immediate:
A step-change in cross-team connection and cultural confidence.
Newfound pride and belief across the business.
A lasting cultural artifact that continues to inspire and align.
Executives called it “a new benchmark.” Participants described it as “the most human experience I’ve had at work.”
Why This Matters:
In a world where firms are racing toward tech, the real differentiator is still our humanity. Creativity, trust, emotional intelligence—these are the currencies of tomorrow’s leaders. If you want to unlock them, you can’t train them into people. You have to design the conditions for them to emerge.
And that’s what Myke does best. You should connect with him asap!
