Project Summary
Medibank set a bold aspiration: to become the healthiest organisation in Australia by 2030. But culture doesn’t shift through slogans or strategies alone. It requires belief, creativity, and consistent acts of leadership at every level.
To build on the wild success of the Work Reinvented launch (which Myke designed and delivered across the country), they needed more than a program. They needed a movement. They needed to find, develop and empower a new wave of passionate change agents who were hungry to help Medibank fulfil on it’s vision.
That’s where Myke came in.
Phase 2 of this monumental initiative saw Myke design and lead the ground-breaking, industry first Reinventor Program—now in its third year—as a dynamic, experience-rich accelerator for cultural leadership and innovation. From strategy to delivery, his role was to activate a living system of change agents embedded throughout the business, who would discover, dismantle, experiment with, and reinvent the many systems and processes that were no longer fit-for-purpose.

In Action

The
Shift
At its core, the Reinventors Program is a 9-month cultural transformation journey. Prioritising experiential, action-based learning, it included:
Immersive Offsites: Transformational in-person gatherings that crack open perspective, reignite self-belief, and build deep peer connection.
Live Masterclasses: Practical, high-energy sessions to upskill champions in creative leadership, storytelling, influence, and innovation.
Peer Mentoring & Group Work: A human-powered accountability system that fosters shared ownership and momentum.
Experiments in Culture: Each participant delivers 6 real-world experiments—from micro-wins to system reinventions—that shift mindsets and spark real change.
Plenty of Magic: Moments of surprise, delight, and deep care creating unique pathways for growth and a cultural imprint that lasts.
The Results:
What began as a pilot program is now a flagship cultural engine transforming the entire business. The first two cohorts ignited over 300+ grassroots innovations, catalysed cross-functional connection, and surfaced a new generation of internal leaders. The program has become a blueprint for people-led transformation.
